National Symposium KALAM 2023

The department of ECE, conducted the 20th National level technical symposium Kalam’23 entitled ELECTRA. The theme ‘ELECTRA’ emerged as a celebration of our nation’s proudest achievement—the successful launch of Chandrayan 3. Within the theme ‘ELECTRA,’ we encapsulate seven distinct themes, each representing a vital aspect of this remarkable mission. E- Embedded System, L- Linear systems and control theory, E-Electrogram, C-Cryptography, T-Transmission lines, R-Robotics & A-Automation.  The inaugural address was delivered by Indian scientist Dr. V. Subbarao, ISRO SRIHARIKOTA. He shared the experience gained in the Chandrarayan-1 and Chandrarayan-2 mission to the audience. The distinguished Guest of Honor, Mr. Umashankar, managing director of Anushri System Private Limited, emphasised the value of scientific research. 

The Two – day technical symposium event was planned with 6 Technical & 6 Non-Technical Events. All the events witnessed enthusiastic participants and eminent judges who contributed to the accomplishment of the event. The two – day symposium had 700+ participants from various departments and universities. The valedictory function commenced on 12th Sept 2023 and the chief guests Dr. P. NirmalKumar, Director-Centre for Distance Education, Anna University and Alumni Guest and Mr. J.Premnarayanan-Alumnus, Proprietor, Chai Leafwere present. The Chief guest delivered the valedictory address, Alumni guest delivered the keynote address. Finally the event was concluded with Vote of thanks delivered by Mr.Lakshminarayanan (Assist. Prof/ECE). With the support of dynamic participants, epic judges, innovative faculty and student coordinators KALAM’23 ELECTRA emerged as a GREAT SUCCESS.
